AICHELIN Group, specialised in industrial heat treatment of metallic parts and components, is consolidating its group of companies with a stronger focus on its core business. The Group has signed an agreement to sell its German subsidiary EMA Indutec, an expert in induction heating and hardening systems and frequency converters that was previously unique in the Group's portfolio, to the internationally renowned ParkOhio Group. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The closing of the transaction was successfully completed by the end of February.
This step is part of the AICHELIN Group's strategy to strengthen its focus on its core business. The proceeds from the sale will be invested in future projects as well as in research and development.
"The sale of EMA Indutec is a carefully planned, strategically sound step into the future that will benefit all parties involved," says Christian Grosspointner, CEO of the AICHELIN Group. "After a successful year and well-filled order books, this consolidation will enable us to further strengthen our core competences and promote our future growth."
The AICHELIN Group sees the sale of EMA Indutec not only as an opportunity to focus on its primary business areas, but also as a chance to strengthen its innovative power and market position. With this strategic decision, the AICHELIN Group is sending a clear signal in favour of sustainable growth and long-term success.
